We’re marching for science on April 14—join us!
We’re pleased to be an official partner of the March for Science and look forward to standing with the scientific community on Saturday, April 14.
As part of our commitment to empowering scientists to know and assert their rights, we partnered with the ACLU on a free guide to participating in activism and protests. In it, we outline key things you can do to ensure your march-related activities are constitutionally protected.
On Friday, April 13, science advocates in Washington D.C. should join CSLDF attorney Augusta Wilson for “Staying Within Bounds,” a talk about how scientists, including those who are federally funded, can safely advocate with their elected officials. The March for Science will also stream the talk on their YouTube channel.
If you’re marching in New York City on Saturday, don’t miss hearing from our director, Lauren Kurtz, at the pre-march rally in Washington Square Park. She’ll take the stage at 10:45 a.m. and explain why it’s so important to stand up for science.
You’ll also find us at Earth Day New York on Sunday, April 15 from 12:00-7:00 p.m. in Union Square. Visit our table to meet our staff, learn more about our work, and pick up free copies of our publications.
We hope to see some of you this weekend!
