Let’s get to work.
Whatever January brings, CSLDF is ready. Our organization was founded to respond to attacks on science and scientists. We fought the first Trump administration’s attempts to silence scientists and deny the realities of climate change, and we are prepared for Trump’s return.
For those of you in government positions who are worried about possibly losing your job, having your scientific work censored or manipulated, or experiencing harassment and abuse in a hostile environment, we offer free legal assistance and advice. You can contact us here. And in light of current events, we plan to expand our legal team.
For those of you who want to learn more about how to speak out and fight back, we have an entire library of resources dedicated to helping scientists understand their legal rights. We will be adding to our legal library in the coming weeks and months.
We have been here before. While a second Trump presidency will surely be even more alarmingly anti-science than the first one, we know what we’re facing and we’re ready to defend climate science and scientists.
If you are a lawyer who can provide pro bono support – or a scientist in need of legal advice – please contact us. And if you can afford it, please consider making a gift to help power our work.
We’re in this together.
