During this truly extraordinary year, we have been busier than ever.

During the first half of 2024, we worked with a record number of researchers facing legal issues including censorship, legal attacks, intimidation, and climate misinformation. We have also helped an increasing number of scientists who are interested in participating in political campaigns and other forms of advocacy learn how to do so safely and effectively.

And we’re not slowing down. Looking ahead, we are continuing to fight for stronger protections for federal scientists, ensure that we have the legal resources to help the increasing number of climate scientists seeking advice or representation, and provide educational resources and training on topics related to scientific advocacy and activism.
