Will you help us raise an extra $40K this summer?
As attacks on science escalate during this unprecedented time, it’s critical that we have the resources we need to protect science and scientists. Right now, a group of our supporters is matching all donations made to us, up to $40,000, and we need your help to meet our fundraising goal.
We’re incredibly grateful to those who have contributed to our work so far. With your support, we’ve published numerous free resources for the scientific community. These include our guides to how federal agencies protect against scientific integrity violations and our guide to how U.S. universities, state agencies, and international institutions approach scientific integrity issues.
We continue to document government attacks on science, from the censorship of a COVID-19 report at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to political interference in research at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
And we’re keeping an eye on changes at federal agencies that impact science. For example, the EPA’s expanded proposed “Strengthening Transparency in Regulatory Science” rule would enable the agency to disregard crucial scientific studies that the Trump administration finds inconvenient to its anti-regulation agenda. So in May, we co-authored a letter to the EPA with the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law about why we oppose the rule.
Your support is invaluable as we work to protect the scientific endeavor. If you haven’t donated yet, please make a gift today. A contribution of any amount will enable us to meet our goal of raising $80,000 to ensure scientists and their research aren’t silenced.
Thank you for being part of our community!
